Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an MR Technologist I to assist physicians with MRI procedures and ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MRI technology, effective communication skills, and a commitment to quality service and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in MR preferred.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire required.
• IV Credentialed required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prepare patients and operate MR equipment for scans.
• Deliver remarkable patient experience in all interactions.

• Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
  • Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
  • Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required):Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
