Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to deliver outpatient imaging services with a patient-centered approach. ARRT MR certification and state licensure are required, with six months to obtain MR registration after hire.

Qualifications

Role Overview

The MRI Technologist in outpatient imaging provides high-quality, compassionate imaging services within a patient-focused environment. Working alongside experienced radiologists and clinical teams, they assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating MRI equipment to acquire accurate scans.

• Interpreting patient information to meet age-specific care requirements

Qualifications And Skills

• Associate Degree or equivalent, with graduate of an ARRT-approved radiography or MRI program
• Minimum one year of MRI experience preferred
• Certification and registration by ARRT in MR (RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)), within six months of hire
• State licensure and compliance with life support training policies
• Thorough knowledge of MRI equipment, analytical skills, and good communication abilities
