Job summary

Hmixray in Boise, Idaho seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will work closely with physicians to address questions and deliver accurate imaging results, while safeguarding patient data and maintaining professional standards.

Required ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. Venipuncture may be required. One year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and field of view to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam and answer questions and concerns regarding procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification
• A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range:

$37.00/per hour - $44.00/per hour
