Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Illinois is seeking a diagnostic imaging technologist to perform MRI and other imaging studies for adults and pediatric patients. You will prepare patients and equipment and work independently to complete exams across on-call and portable settings.

Cross-training in MRI is encouraged; registration as an RT (R) or MRI is advantageous. CPR and IV therapy certifications are preferred. Collaboration with the imaging team will ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate or trade school education completed.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Licenses/certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are valued.
• Willingness to cross-train in MRI; RT(R) or MRI registration is advantageous.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.

Job description

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment purposes. • CPR and intravenous therapy certifications are preferred.
