Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Radiology required; valid Arkansas licensure; two years radiology technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled start times and remains dependable.
• Check C-arm and equipment for use before procedures.
• Prepares and opens supplies for procedures.
• Assists patients with transfer from stretcher to OR table.
• Performs patient skin preparation.
• Positions the C-arm to obtain adequate images.
• Cleans and organizes the room before and after procedures.
• Maintains inventory and monitors supply costs.
• Maintains radiology equipment and knowledge of radiology tech tools.
• Completes exams per department policies and protocols.
• Organizes workload during high volume and communicates pending exams.
