Job summary

Piedmont Walton Imaging Team is seeking an MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. You will perform MRI examinations under Radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Candidates must have an AMA/JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program, ARDMS or ARRT certification, and BLS certification; no strict experience required, 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program (Required)
• Work Experience: No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) (Required); BCLS – Basic Life Support (Required)

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists perform diagnostic MR examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
