AMI offers an MRI Technologist training path designed to prepare new graduates or experienced technologists for MR procedures in a growing outpatient imaging network. The program emphasizes safety, protocol adherence, and interdepartmental collaboration across multiple offices.

The position requires ARRT eligibility or active registry, BLS certification, and willingness to cross-train in venipuncture and MRI. Competitive benefits are included with varied shifts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current or upcoming graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound or accredited MRI program.
• Registered ARRT technologists must have professional scanning experience for consideration.
• Current and valid American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification required prior to start.
• Willing to receive training and certification in venipuncture for contrast media and IV catheter.
• Must complete MRI Cross Training and achieve ARRT MRI registry.

Responsabilités

• Operate all aspects of MR scanning unit and transfer images for interpretation.
• Evaluate screening for patient safety in the magnetic field.
• Consult with Radiologist and implement scanning protocols as directed.
• Maintain daily work schedule and document in required systems.
• Monitor patient flow and accommodate unscheduled patients and add-on studies.
• Perform quality control testing, equipment calibrations, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs with Chief Technologist/Office Administrator.
• Participate in meetings and continuing education programs.
