Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and interventional MRI imaging, assist with sedation, and venipuncture as needed. Works with radiology staff to ensure high-quality patient care and imaging services across CT, ultrasound, PET and more.

Requirements include ARRT MR certification or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain MR within 1 year, BLS, and Texas certification, plus about 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• 1 year of related work experience or ARRT (R) license with ARRT (MR) within 1 year.

Job Description : Your Job:In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
