Job summary

Kettering Health is hiring an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will work with the care team to support timely imaging services and patient comfort, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Requires ARRT MRI and Radiography, Ohio license, and BLS. Preferred MRI certificate or extra imaging modality certs are plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Requirements

The MRI Tech operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support patient care and clinical decision-making. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory standards while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver accurate and timely imaging services. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
• completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Required Work Experience

• Clinical experience obtained through completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Required Licenses, Certifications, And Registrations

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR)
• current Ohio Radiographer License per Ohio Revised Code 4773.03
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained prior to patient contact).
