The role requires knowledge of PACS image transfer and storage, interfacing with physicians and nursing staff, strict adherence to FDA MR standards, and the ability to guide non-technical colleagues through paperwork and patient transport.

Formación

• Ability to perform MRI procedures with QA testing and recording as required.
• Knowledge of digital processing with image transfer and storage on PACS.
• Interacts with physicians, interprets orders, and explains procedures to staff and patients.
• Familiar with FDA MR standards and safety for entering the magnetic field.
• Understanding department operations to assist non-technical staff with paperwork.
• English speaking and reading proficiency enough to perform essential functions.
• Proficient Windows computer skills: MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MRI procedures with quality assurance and calibration as required.
• Assist physicians, interpret orders, and communicate with nursing staff and patients.
• Ensure safety regarding ferromagnetic objects and MR compatibility.
• Support department operations, processing paperwork, films, and patient transport.
• Maintain proficient use of Windows software and hardware in daily tasks.
