Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and maintain current equipment knowledge. You will assist patients and physicians, stay informed of new scanning techniques, and help optimize post-processing workflows.

The role requires high school diploma or GED with vocational radiologic training, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and BLS. An Associate's degree is preferred; 1–2 years in computerized imaging or recent MRI program

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with vocational radiologic training.
  • Graduate from Radiologic Technology School.
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • ARRT certification with Florida Radiographer License or ARMRIT certification.
  • MRI Certification within 12 months from date of hire.
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • 1–2 years in computerized imaging or graduate of MRI program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans and maintain knowledge of equipment.
  • Assist patients and physicians as needed.
  • Keep informed of new scanning techniques and technology.
  • Train technical staff on protocols and post-processing techniques.
