Job summary

Windsor Imaging in Oakland Park, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our patient-focused imaging team. You will perform high-quality scans and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Required ARRT MRI certification and Florida licensure (or eligibility). Spanish speaking preferred. Candidates with HITACHI to SIEMENS transition noted; strong attention to safety and documentation required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI (or MRI registry eligible).
• Florida licensure or eligibility to obtain before starting.
• Experience operating MRI equipment in clinical/outpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindication screening.
• Excellent patient communication with a compassionate approach.
• Spanish-speaking abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing routine quality control checks
• Screen patients for contraindications and review medical histories prior to scanning
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image delivery
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI zone restrictions and infection control procedures

EVERY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 9-5

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders


• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout


• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing routine quality control checks


• Screen patients for contraindications and review medical histories prior to scanning


• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image delivery


• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards


• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI zone restrictions and infection control procedures

Requirements
