Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks a skilled MRI technologist to perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures with minimal supervision. You will produce high-quality images, ensure patient comfort, and coordinate with radiologists for study reviews.

You will complete all required documentation and assist with related duties as needed. Candidates should have an accredited imaging program graduate background, ARRT (R) with MRI training, BLS, and a willingness to obtain MRI Registry within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• ARRT (R) certification and MRI training; obtain MRI Registry within one year; BLS; state license if required.
• Preferred: Associates degree or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 1–3 years in MRI imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures as ordered.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure patient care.
• Send studies to reading station for radiologist review and complete documentation.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
