Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. This role involves rotating on the holiday schedule and performing MRI/MRA studies across body regions with an emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging.

The ideal candidate has MRI training, registry eligibility or certification, and experience with GE, Siemens, Hitachi, and Philips MRI equipment. A supportive management team and EPIC EMR are in place to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology with additional training in MRI.
• Graduate from an accredited MRI school or Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Sonography or Radiation Therapy school with additional training in MRI.
• Must be MRI Registry eligible or MRI Registered; if eligible, must become MRI registered within 6 months of hire.
• BCLS required

Responsibilities

• Rotating on the holiday schedule.
• Training in MRI and MRI angiography (head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, breast).
• Experience with GE, Siemens, Hitachi and Philips magnets preferred.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork.
• Supportive staff environment and collaborative management.
• Utilizes a single Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC).
• Provides comprehensive patient care and safety throughout MRI procedures.
