Job summary

OSU-Center for Health Sciences is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform standard clinical and advanced research MRI. You will assist and position patients in the scanner and collect imaging data per established protocols, with and without MR contrast agents.

The role requires operating MR equipment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting pediatric imaging projects. A degree in radiologic technology and ARRT/ARMRIT certification are required, with several years of experience in diagnostic

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent conferred by start date.
• Experience operating MR scanners and peripheral instrumentation (e.g., contrast injector, GFR measurement).
• At least 5 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist performing clinical diagnostic imaging.
• Certification and registration in MRI (ARRT or ARMRIT).

About this Position

The MRI Technologistwill performstandard clinical and advanced research magnetic resonance imaging. These responsibilities include patientassistanceand positioning in the scanner, and collection of imaging data according to standard protocols both with and without MR contrast agents.

Required Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical
  • Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

• Experience with operation of MR scanner and peripheral instrumentation(e.g., contrast injector, GFR measurement, etc.)

• At least 5 years’experience as an MRI Technologistperforming clinical diagnostic imaging

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

• Certified and Registered in Magnetic Resonance Imagingfrom eitherARRTorARMRIT.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in English
• Experience with pediatric imaging, as the Center will have a particular focus on research imaging in infants and children
• Experience with a Siemens platform is preferable.
• More than 7 years’experience as an MRI Technologistperforming clinical diagnostic imaging
