Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY seeks a Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist to perform MRI, CT and X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) and ARRT (MR) certifications preferred or must be obtained within specified timeframe.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., implants, pacemakers).
• Administer contrast agents as required.
• Monitor patients during scans and ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform CT scans including trauma, contrast, and non-contrast studies.
• Prepare and position patients accurately.
• Administer IV contrast following protocol and monitor for reactions.
• Perform post-processing and 3D reconstructions as needed.
• Conduct general radiographic exams including portable and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Ensure proper positioning and technique to minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintain and calibrate X-ray equipment.
