Are you an experienced MRI Tech looking for a challenging and rewarding position? Our healthcare organization is in search of a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused MRI Tech to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the operational efficiency of our MRI equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI safety screening for all patients prior to MRI procedures, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities, including routine checks of MRI equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot MRI equipment issues, escalating to the appropriate team for resolution as needed.
• Support patient flow and throughput by effectively managing scheduling and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to minimize patient wait times.
• Communicate professionally with patients, their families, and the clinical team, providing clear explanations of MRI procedures and answering any questions.
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA-aligned practices, ensuring all patient information is handled with the utmost discretion.
• Utilize basic computer skills for tasks such as data entry, patient record management, and MRI machine operation.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an MRI Tech.
• Current and valid certification as an MRI Tech from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MRI safety screening procedures and equipment troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of patient flow and throughput management.
• Excellent communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the use of patient management software and MRI machine operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
