Job summary

UPMC Passavant is seeking an MRI support aide to assist in the MRI and CT procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow and safety. You will greet patients, prepare paperwork, and help with screening, positioning, and basic care under the supervision of the technologist.

The role operates on-site in Pittsburgh, with a daylight shift (6:30a–3:00p) and weekend rotation, no overnight hours. A high school diploma and healthcare exposure are required; prior imaging office experience and IV insertion are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of healthcare experience.
• Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.
• IV insertion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets patients as they arrive to department. Assists with paperwork, scheduling questions, and patient history; escorts to dressing areas and assists as needed.
• Assists technologist in MRI/CT prep, positioning, IV access, contrast preparation, and patient instructions; helps with room preparation and QC functions; transports patients as required.
