Qualifications

  • Maintain BLS card.
  • Ability to be in stationary position (sitting or standing) up to 80% of the time.
  • IV or blood draw experience is desired; can be taught upon hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine paramedical, clerical & technical assistance related to MRI procedures.
  • Review the Safety Questionnaire with patients and assist patients in wearing hospital‑appointed attire for safe scanning.
  • If applicable, place an IV in the patient prior to study.
  • Use Epic (EMR) and communicate with the team through Snapboard.
  • Manage scanner assignments to divide the workload between scheduled PCTAs.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked work area at all times.
  • Train newer staff to meet department requirements.

Ability to work 4- or 8-hour shifts, 11 pm-7 am
