Job summary

Hmixray in Florida is seeking an MRI Steering Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality imaging and patient care. You will produce MRI scans remotely with ROCC Tech Assistant support, ensuring safety and timely results.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, a state radiologic license if applicable, and BLS. Schedule: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM; shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality MRI images from a remote location with ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Release patient with proper follow-up information via ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Monitor patient well-being during scans via cameras and ROCC Tech Assistant; respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Recognize emergencies and direct ROCC Tech Assistant in emergency shutdown when applicable.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

Schedule: 6:00PM-2:00AM shifts available Monday-Sunday. Shift differential applies.

You Will:

• Produce high quality MRI diagnostic images from a remote location with the help of a ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Ensure release of patient with proper follow-up information via the ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Monitor patient's well-being during scans via cameras and through feedback from ROCC Tech Assistant; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Recognize emergency situations and direct the ROCC Tech Assistant in emergency shutdown of gradient and/or main magnetic field (quench) when applicable.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
