Job summary

RadNet in Nashville, TN is seeking an MRI Steering Technologist to produce high-quality MRI diagnostic images and ensure patient safety in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have ARRT(R)(MR) certification, state licensure, and a passion for patient care.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(R)(MR) certification or ARMRIT is required.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • BLS certification is a must.
  • Preferred one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

You Will
  • Produce high quality MRI diagnostic images from a remote location with the help of an ROCC Tech Assistant.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Ensure release of patient with proper follow‑up information via the ROCC Tech Assistant.
  • Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
  • Monitor patient’s well‑being during scans via cameras and through feedback from the ROCC Tech Assistant; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Recognize emergency situations and direct the ROCC Tech Assistant in emergency shutdown of gradient and/or main magnetic field (quench) when applicable.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • ARRT(R)(MR) certification or ARMRIT.
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • Must have BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
