Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Steering Technologist for a remote imaging role in Florida. You will operate MRI equipment to generate high-quality diagnostic images from a remote site using ROCC Tech Assistant support, while upholding patient safety and care standards.

The position requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a strong patient-care focus are provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required or ARMRIT equivalent.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality MRI diagnostic images from a remote location with ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and protocols.
• Provide release of patient information with proper follow-up via ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Maintain high-quality imaging with timely delivery and patient care.
• Monitor patient wellbeing during scans via cameras and feedback from ROCC Tech Assistant; respond to discomfort or issues.
• Recognize emergencies and direct ROCC Tech Assistant for quench or other actions when needed.
• Address physician questions and provide information about patients.

You Will:

• Produce high quality MRI diagnostic images from a remote location with the help of a ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Ensure release of patient with proper follow-up information via the ROCC Tech Assistant.
• Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Monitor patient's well-being during scans via cameras and through feedback from ROCC Tech Assistant; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Recognize emergency situations and direct the ROCC Tech Assistant in emergency shutdown of gradient and/or main magnetic field (quench) when applicable.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(MR) certification or ARMRIT

Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00 / Hourly
