Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 years of MRI experience required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, introduces, and ensures proper policies, procedures, and safe working practices for day-to-day MR operations are enforced after full consultation with MRMD and MRSE.
• Coordinates and organizes MRI Safety Committee to ensure appropriate measures for managing hazards and minimizing risks to health that arise from the use of or exposure to the MR equipment are implemented and monitored for protection of staff and patients.
• Provides safety advice regarding the selection, procurement, and installation of MR-related equipment (in consultation with the MRSE, if/as needed) as well as for the modification of MR protocols (in consultation with the MRMD/MRSE, if/as needed).
• Assures the teaching of basic physical principles and application of Magnetic Resonance to a wide range of clinical and support staff in both formal and informal settings.
