Job summary

GAP Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI researcher to support NIH’s NIA radiology studies at the NIH Baltimore Campus. The role involves operating the 3T MRI system, coordinating participant scheduling, and ensuring safety and quality in functional and structural imaging.

Requires an MD/MBBS? Not stated; rather, a licensed MRI technologist with ARRT certification is expected. The candidate will work closely with clinical unit staff, researchers, and vendors to maintain smooth operation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed MRI Technologist in the State of Maryland.
• Certification by the ARRT and licensed by the State of Maryland.
• Demonstrated experience with clinical trial management.
• Demonstrated experience working with special populations (children, adolescents, adult, elderly).
• Experience with patient care.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance and upgrade visits with MRI instrument vendors.
• Test and troubleshoot new hardware and software for the MRI scanner.
• Serve as the point of contact for safety issues and incident reporting.
• Set up MR-specific equipment and display equipment for functional imaging.
• Operate the MRI console and select imaging sequences.
• Coordinate MRI study participant scheduling and flow.
