Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an operational lead for radiology research to support high-quality imaging and protocol execution. You will partner with MR physicists, investigators, clinical teams, technologists, and staff to ensure data integrity and study readiness from start-up to closeout.

The role emphasizes education, workflow development, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain safe, compliant research imaging services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in radiology or related field required.
5 years MRI research or clinical operations experience preferred.
ARMRIT MR technologist credentials required or MR credentials.
BLS certification expected.

Responsibilities

Coordinates radiology research imaging operations from study start-up through closeout, including protocol setup, scanner and visit coordination, documentation, and operational follow-up.
Leads review of radiology protocols for research projects and communicates findings to principal investigators and study teams.
Collaborates with MRI leadership, physicists, radiologists, technologists, nurses, and research teams to support viable study requests and coordinated processes.
Maintains accurate study, subject, imaging, quality-control, and expense documentation; tracks activity and resources.
Performs MRI research patient scanning and setup ~10% of the time, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
