Job summary

Avera Holy Family Hospital in Iowa is seeking a radiologic technologist to proficiently operate radiographic and CT equipment and provide clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians.

MRI experience is required, along with ARRT certification and Iowa licensure upon hire. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, competitive benefits, and opportunities for mentoring and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's or a certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to operate PACS/RIS/HIS EMR systems.
• State licensure to practice in Iowa required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and safely according to established standards.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist when an exam indicates immediate attention.
• Reviews exam indications and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Provides exam data in a complete and accurate format for interpretation.
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, HIS EMR systems and performs general clerical duties.
• Mentors staff and supports training and orientation activities.
