Job summary

Arkansas Children's in Arkansas is seeking a PRN Radiology student to perform radiology procedures under supervision in the MRI Technology department. The role is part time and requires enrollment in an accredited radiology program.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, safety and quality control, and potential patient transport or assistance with positioning. Training will be provided in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited radiology program.
• Entry Level - Experience not Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures directly supervised by qualified/licensed/registered AC team members.
• Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific clinical work appropriate for the department as needed.
• Completes documentation of patient records and Quality Control processes as needed.
• Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns as needed.
• May transport patients to other departments.
• May assist with holding/positioning patients as needed.
• May prepare and clean exam rooms.
• Provides comfort measures as needed.
• Utilizes appropriate diagnostic equipment and software as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
