Job summary

The University of Notre Dame’s Human Neuroimaging Center seeks an MRI Physicist to advance brain imaging methods using the Siemens 3T Cima.X platform. You will program, test, and optimize MR pulse sequences, collaborate with researchers, and explore AI/deep learning approaches to enhance data quality and scientific discovery.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Physics, Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience developing MR pulse sequences on a research MRI platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and test MR pulse sequences using the Siemens development environment.
• Implement and optimize innovative acquisition strategies for neuroimaging applications.
• Collaborate with faculty and research teams to design protocols and support study planning.
• Provide MR physics expertise to advance scientific outcomes.
