Job summary

American Health Imaging is seeking a registered X-Ray Technologist to join our Sandy Springs office as an MRI Operator. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., and includes preparing patients, ensuring MRI safety, and coordinating with the remote technologist to monitor scans. The position requires ARRT registration and current CPR/BLS, with preferred MRI safety training and prior radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT Registered.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• MRI safety training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets, screens, and prepares patients for MRI scans.
• Sets up the MRI suite and patient table per protocol.
• Assists with setup of power injectors as needed.
• Serves as onsite safety observer during virtual MRI scanning.
• Maintains MRI safety policies and room readiness between patients.
• Coordinates with remote technologist to ensure image quality.
