Job summary

The MRI Nurse at Shields Health Solutions will care for patients undergoing MRI procedures, monitoring and supporting comfort and safety in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will work with Radiologists and MRI Technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining a professional, patient-centric atmosphere.

Requirements include nursing school completion and RN licensure in the state of work, with five years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you plan to work in.
• Nursing school completion is required.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Experience in ICU, PACU or ER is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients for distress during MRI procedures and provide reassurance.
• Maintain excellent bedside manner and clear communication with patients.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and MRI Technicians to optimize outcomes.
• Adhere to health regulations and MRI safety procedures.
• Assess and reassess patients as needed during imaging procedures.
• Assist with patient transfer and ensure safety for all ages.
• Support care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
