Job summary

Philips in Latham, NY is seeking a Mechanic for the 2nd shift to operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools, fabricating and installing mechanical components for MRI systems while following safety and ESD protocols.

You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret drawings, perform precise assemblies, and document tool usage and maintenance to ensure compliance with medical-device manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with light industrial or home improvement work.
• Experience with soldering, wiring, fabrication, or general warehouse tasks.

• Operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems.
