Job summary

Jacksonville ER is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality imaging for patients. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and assist with contrast administration as needed.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of hospital experience. Candidates should be able to maintain accurate EMR data and uphold safety standards in the MRI suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (associate degree preferred).
• ARRT certification.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of one year of related experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients with high-quality imaging results.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns; administer contrast when necessary.
• Position patients correctly in the MRI scanner and select appropriate imaging techniques.
• Enter and monitor patient data in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain competencies and safe equipment use; participate in QA activities and documentation.
