Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center – ROOSEVELT radiology is seeking a Per Diem MRI Radiology Technologist. You will perform comprehensive MRI examinations, prep patients, review histories, and coordinate with radiologists. Training includes contrast administration and patient safety oversight.

Under supervision, you will maintain RIS/PACS documentation, assist with teaching and quality control, and help ensure high-quality imaging for diverse neurologic cases in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
• AMA approved school training with ARRT registration.
• Equivalent education/experience allowed where legal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain procedures.
• Review patient history and coordinate with physicians.
• Administer contrast under radiologist supervision and monitor during exams.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure proper RIS/PACS workflow.
• Maintain records and assist with research and teaching activities.
