Job summary

Shields Health is seeking an MRI Imaging Support Specialist to monitor patients during MRI procedures, assist with patient positioning, and maintain safety protocols. You will communicate with the remote MRI Technologist and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scan, in Zones 3 and 4.

Required CPR certification, strong communication skills, and familiarity with MRI equipment. This role emphasizes quick response to emergencies and collaboration with the MRI team in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Medical Imaging MRI-related field preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Directly monitor patients at all times during MRI procedures.
• Provide communication between patient and remote MRI Technologist.
• Assist with positioning and safety in the MRI room.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of equipment under remote supervision.
• Respond immediately to changes in patient status or emergencies.
• Stay informed about new MRI guidelines and procedures.
