Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using magnetic resonance technology in a clinical setting. You will independently conduct procedures, prepare patients, verify orders, and document history while maintaining ALARA principles and safety.

You will optimize imaging protocols, ensure patient safety, assist in interventional procedures, educate staff, and handle data transfer and archival storage as part of routine responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT or equivalent is required; new graduates must obtain certification before employment.
• Graduate of a radiologic technology program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and ability to participate in safety investigations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, prepare patients, and document clinical history with confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and evaluate image quality.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Assist in MRI interventional procedures and monitor safety protocols.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Handle data transfer, post-processing, and archival storage.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
