Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-recognized education program.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical continuity of care for patients undergoing MRI studies.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists and present patient history.
• Assist in venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Maintain knowledge of RIS/HIS modules relevant to MRI operations.
• Contribute to Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities.
• Adhere to downtime procedures to ensure accurate information in PACS.
• Provide patient education about the exam and process.
• Verify patient identity and correct MR data before sending images to PACS.
• Review patient safety checklist prior to the MRI study.
