Job summary

LiRo-Hill seeks a Construction Superintendent with MEP for a ground-up MRI facility for the State of NY Office of General Services (OGS). The role involves on-site day-to-day monitoring of multi-trade construction to ensure conformance with contract requirements on a campus of a psychiatric hospital.

Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, supporting subcontractors, reading drawings, preparing daily reports, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

8+ years NYC construction experience leading multiple phases of building/rehabilitation projects.
General Construction Superintendent or MEP Superintendent background preferred.
4+ years as a Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi-contract buildings.
Ability to develop and monitor a detailed project work plan and coordinate trades.

Responsibilities

Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control across project stages.
Coordinate third-party code inspections and documentation.
Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute duties.
Read and interpret drawings and specs; prepare daily reports and logs.
Schedule inspections to meet safety and compliance requirements at each job location.
Maintain a written daily site log of visitors, actions, materials, and issues.
Identify and resolve problems; lead meetings with team members as needed.
Review contractor as-builts.
