Job summary

University of California, San Francisco seeks a Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialist in the Liao Lab to support research in advanced MRI, focusing on structural, quantitative, and diffusion MRI.

The Specialist will perform image reconstruction, processing, quantitative analysis, and data management, and help develop reproducible workflows. Collaboration with PI, postdocs, staff, and engineers is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires baccalaureate degree or equivalent with specified experience for Junior rank.
• Assistant rank requires master's degree or equivalent with 3+ years research experience.
• Associate rank requires master’s or 5–10 years experience.
• Full rank requires terminal degree or 10+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze MRI data.
• Implement and maintain image analysis pipelines.
• Perform quality control and data management.
• Support development and validation of MRI methods.
• Contribute to figures, presentations, abstracts, and manuscripts.
• Coordinate data analysis across projects and support reproducible workflows.
