Job summary

JCMG is looking for an experienced MRI/CT Technologist in Jefferson City, MO. This PRN position involves performing CT and MRI imaging procedures, with no on-call or weekend hours required. Candidates must be certified in MR and/or CT and registered with the ARRT. Ideal candidates should be flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will have completed an accredited radiography program and maintain credentials in good standing. Competitive salary based on experience is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in MR and/or CT, registered with the ARRT.
• BLS certification required.
• Must become registered with the ARRT within 1 year of training start date.

Responsibilities

JCMG’s Radiology department is looking for an experienced MRI/CT Tech. This is a PRN position to assist within the department as needed. Candidate must be flexible in their responsibilities and be willing to work in a fast-paced department. Successful candidate must be certified in either MR and/or CT, and registered with the ARRT. Job Specific Competencies

• Performs Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and/or MRI procedures as indicated in the procedure manual.
• Performs other related imaging procedures producing images for interpretation by a physician.
• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient into the Radiology Department for testing.
• Maintains a safe environment.
• Graduate of the committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited radiography program, JCERT accredited or other national accreditation agencies acceptable to the ARRT.

Certification/License

• ART certification in MR or OJT training to become registered with the ARRT.
• Registered Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist or OJT training.
• Must become registered with the ARRT within 1 year of training start date.
• Maintains credentials in good standing.
• BLS required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is normally performed in an interior/office or workshop environment.
