Job summary

Entegee is seeking an experienced MRB Engineer (Liaison/Production Support/Stress) to support Boeing commercial aircraft programs on-site in Wichita, KS. You will evaluate nonconformities, develop repair dispositions and rework instructions, and prepare repair documentation for MRB review.

Candidates with Boeing MRB Delegation are preferred; a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree is required, with extensive aerospace experience including Boeing programs. Location is on-site in Wichita.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years aerospace engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs preferred.

Screening Questions

• What BCA (Boeing Commercial Airline) experience (737,747,767,777,787) or what other OEM commercial airplane experience and what model(s)?
• Has the candidate held or currently holds MRB Delegation?
• What school does the candidate have a 4-year Engineering Degree from an ABET or Washington Accords accredited university?
• Does the candidate have “Design For Repair”?

Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs as an MRB Engineer, Liaison Engineer, Production Support Engineer, or Stress Engineer or other commercial aircraft in a similar capacity. Candidates with current or previous Boeing MRB Delegation (Stamping Authority) are highly preferred, not required; however, engineers who have developed repair dispositions and engineering instructions for approval by a delegated Boeing MRB Engineer are also encouraged to apply.

Must Haves

• Commercial airplane experience such as Gulfstream, Beechcraft, Airbus or any OEM.
• Current or prior MRB Delegation.
• 4 year Engineering degree from an ABET or Washington Accords accredited university.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate nonconforming aircraft parts, assemblies, and installations in support of production.
• Develop engineering repair dispositions and rework instructions for structural and manufacturing nonconformances.
• Prepare technical repair documentation for review and approval by a delegated Boeing MRB Engineer when required.
• If delegated, review and approve MRB dispositions in accordance with Boeing engineering requirements and procedures.
• Determine appropriate dispositions including Use As Is, Repair, Rework, and other approved corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent aerospace engineering experience).
• Minimum 5 years of aerospace engineering experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft or other commercial aircraft programs would be acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or previous Boeing MRB Delegation (Stamping Authority) preferred NOT required
• Experience preparing repair dispositions for review and approval by a delegated Boeing MRB Engineer.
• Boeing 737 program experience is strongly preferred.
