Qualifications

Responsibilities

RAYUS Radiology (DailyPay)

We're offering a $7,500.00 sign‑on bonus! Join us for a part‑time MRI Technologist position, working Tuesday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist, you will operate assigned scanners to produce diagnostic images, ensuring a patient‑centered approach with excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

• Screen patient before exam for precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning them appropriately for the scan.
• Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body portions with minimal supervision, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
• Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed.
• Follow physicians' orders precisely, comply with safety regulations, and accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area, sanitizing equipment and promoting safe habits for patients and team members.
• Maintain equipment in good working order; clean and disinfect it after each use.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.

(5%) MRI Department Support

• Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and handling software upgrades.
• Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
• Assist in the training of new team members, providing resources and technical expertise as applicable.

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on state regulations and business need.
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
7. Certification in an imaging specialty.

Preferred:

• Bilingual.
