Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a Project Engineer for the MQ-9B Germany Programs Engineering team to contribute to planning, requirements, and execution of development, test, and airworthiness activities.

Collaboration with program management and customers is essential to deliver spacecraft- and aircraft-related solutions. The role involves proposal development, system integration, and liaison with multiple functional groups while maintaining budget and schedule

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering degree with progressive experience.
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and guide development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with program management and customer counterparts to define requirements.
• Develop program plans, proposals, and oversee development and test activities.
• Support airworthiness certification and customer site setup.
• Travel up to 25% for meetings in the U.S. and abroad.
