Job summary

ASEC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner for the Jacksonville, FL area to support MQ-4C Triton sustainment. You will review and update maintenance plans, coordinate with government and engineering teams, and ensure data accuracy across provisioning records.

The role requires experience with military aircraft maintenance, maintenance documentation, and logistics data systems, plus a DoD Secret clearance. Office-based position with collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in military aircraft maintenance, planning, provisioning, or fleet sustainment.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and aircraft configuration information.
• Knowledge of SM&R codes and the relationship between maintenance requirements and supply support.
• Experience researching discrepancies and coordinating corrections with technical and logistics personnel.
• Familiarity with GEIA-STD-0007 and the S-Series, including S1000D, S2000M, and S4000P.
• Basic understanding of XML and its use in structured, XML-based technical documentation and IETMs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and logistics databases.

Responsibilities

• Review and update Maintenance Plans based on engineering changes, maintenance concepts, repair capabilities, and support requirements.
• Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, service bulletins, and related documentation to determine impacts to maintenance planning and provisioning data.
• Verify maintenance task information, including maintenance levels, personnel, tools, test equipment, materials, and replacement parts.
• Review and recommend changes to Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SM&R) codes and associated provisioning data.
• Research and reconcile discrepancies involving part numbers, National Stock Numbers, nomenclature, configuration applicability, and provisioning records.
• Prepare and track Data Change Notices and supporting documentation to update supply and provisioning records.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, NAVSUP, Defense Logistics Agency, and other stakeholders to resolve maintenance planning and provisioning discrepancies.
• Review and maintain logistics data and technical documentation in accordance with applicable GEIA-STD-0007 and S-Series requirements, including S1000D, S2000M, and S4000P.
• Support logistics data migration, mapping, and validation between source systems, XML-based IETM content, and maintenance planning and provisioning databases.
• Use SQL queries and reports to research discrepancies, reconcile records, and support maintenance planning and provisioning decisions.
• Maintain source documentation, revision history, and traceability for data changes.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide status updates on assigned changes, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
