Job summary

NSI is seeking a Journeyman Aerospace Engineer to support FRCSE Triton Fleet Support Team for MQ-4 unmanned aircraft. You will develop solutions for maintenance problems, assist in troubleshooting aircraft control, hydraulic, fuel, and pressurization systems, and review manuals for accuracy. On-site in Jacksonville, FL with potential limited travel.

Secret clearance and US citizenship required. Bachelor's in Aerospace/Mechanical/Systems Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience are

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant aerospace experience.
Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems.
Assist maintenance in troubleshooting/repair of aircraft control, hydraulic, fuel, and pressurization systems.
Review maintenance manuals for accuracy and submit red-line changes.
Present findings to management or team and ensure compliance with naval policies.
Perform engineering investigations and provide dispositions for obsolete components.
Determine component criticality via failure mode effects analysis.
Review drawings/blueprints, estimate materials and repair time.
