Job summary

NSI is seeking a Journeyman Aerospace Engineer to support the FRCSE Triton Fleet with detailed solutions for aircraft and engine systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance problem-solving. You will review maintenance manuals, propose red-line changes, and ensure compliance with naval aviation policies.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Aerospace/Mechanical/Systems Engineering, at least 3 years' experience, and a U.S. citizen with a Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical or systems engineering.
• Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for technical, operational, and maintenance problems.
• Review maintenance manuals and submit red-line changes.
• Assist with troubleshooting/repair of aircraft control, hydraulic, fuel, and pressurization systems.
• Perform failure investigations and determine component criticality via FMEA.
• Review drawings/blueprints and provide material estimates and repair times.
• Limited travel; work on-site at FRCSE.
