Job summary

Peraton is seeking a flight dynamics specialist in the Lexington Park, MD area for 6DOF simulation analyses using MODAVSIM and MATLAB to assess air system performance; work is hybrid. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and at least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of aerodynamics or computer programming with experience in MATLAB, data plotting and analysis.
• U.S. citizen with a Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Execute six degree of freedom (6DOF) simulation analyses using MODAVSIM and Mission Plan routes.
• Create scripts for batch-style simulations and plot data to reports.
• Assess safety-critical aspects and document findings for MQ-25 Mission Plan validation.
