Job description

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently executing MPW’s operations at specific automotive or environmental job sites. This role may also be responsible for the full life cycle of jobs including planning, organizing and coordinating equipment and personnel.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinating daily work schedules.
  • Ensuring the completion and quality of all tasks as established within the scheduled work and completing special projects as directed by the customer.
  • Evaluating employee performance, initiating and documenting corrective action when appropriate.
  • Coordinating the location’s entire inventory needs and interfacing with corporate purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Working closely with the operations manager to assess future staffing requirements and work schedules.
  • Coordinating daily technician and team leader meetings to inform them of the job safety analysis and leading discussion of related topics (Safety, Operations, Human Resources).
  • Identifying, analyzing and resolving operational based problems.
  • Ensuring the established quality standards of the customer are met or exceeded.
  • Conducting annual reviews of direct reports and recommending merit increases to ensure compliance with the established wage structure.
  • Performing nightly administrative tasks including documenting attendance, work completed, work not completed, customer requests, and status reports to the operations/account manager.
  • Performing other duties as directed.

Job Details
  • Type: Full‑time
  • Salary: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour (or $20.00 per hour)
  • Schedule: 10‑hour shift, 12‑hour shift, 8‑hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift, Overtime, Weekend availability
  • Experience: Manufacturing – 1 year (Preferred); Day shift (Preferred); Night shift (Preferred)
  • Work Location: On the road (requires reliable commute to Evansville, IN or relocation)
