Job summary

Oakland University seeks Graduate Research Assistants (GAs) in the MPH program. GAs work ~10 hours per week for a semester, under a faculty mentor, assisting with literature reviews, data collection/analysis, and preparation of materials for disseminating results.

GAs must be MPH graduate students in good standing and enrolled for at least 8 credits. Compensation includes tuition support and monthly payments; on/off-campus work may be required. Orientation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be MPH graduate student in good standing.
• Enrollment of at least 8 credits for the academic year in a graduate program.
• Maintain good academic standing (GPA 3.0).

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned MPH faculty mentor with literature reviews, data collection and analysis.
• Prepare materials for disseminating research results (manuscripts or conference presentations).
• Attend mentor's research team meetings and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Possible on-campus and/or off-campus work; participate in MPH GA orientation.
