Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Money Processing Center (MPC) Teller at our Maite Branch to support daily teller operations. The role supports deposits, currency exchanges, and cash handling within a secure, compliant framework.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and prior teller or cash handling experience. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. Location: Mongmong, Guam.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Prior teller or cash handling experience desirable.
• Ability to count.
• Must be able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Use of 10-key adding machine and typing.
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Works with the department and operations managers, and supervisors to ensure adherence to all compliance, GLBA, audit, and security requirements, minimizing exposure to loss/liability.
• Performs teller functions in the daily support of the overall operations of the department
• Accepts and processes deposits accurately
• Redeems and calculates foreign currency/drafts for deposits
• Turns in excess cash to vault throughout the day
• Fulfills customer change orders accurately and timely
• Cross trains in other processing areas
