Job summary

Melaleuca is seeking a full-time on-site Receiving Associate in Missouri. You will verify PO accuracy, process receiving labels, and generate documents while coordinating with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies.

You will assist Accounts Payable, handle foreign facility receipts, and maintain freight and policy-change records. Lift up to 40 lbs and perform receptionist duties as needed in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of material received with the purchase order amount.
• Completes receiving labels and affixes them to the material.
• Generates receiving documents and coordinates with Purchasing on discrepancies.
• Assists Accounts Payable with discrepancies between receipt and invoices.
• Completes receiving for foreign facilities (Canada).
• Pulls, issues, and completes jobs for materials from outside vendors; includes foreign facilities.
• Fills out receiving change forms for Accounting, Purchasing, etc.
• Completes debit memos and assists Purchasing in returning over shipments.
• Maintains freight loss/damage reports; assists Logistics and Purchasing with freight issues.
• Works with Accounts Payable, Purchasing and QA on receiving policy changes.
• Separates vendor lot numbers when mixed lots are delivered.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Verifies the accuracy of material received with amount on purchase order
• Completes receiving labels and affixes them to the received material.
• Generates receiving documents and coordinates with the Purchasing departments on any discrepancies.
• Assists Accounts Payable in researching discrepancies between receipt and A/P invoices.
• Completes all foreign facilities receiving (i.e., Canada).
• Pulls, issues, and completes jobs for material received from outside vendors. Also completes jobs for foreign facilities.
• Fills out receiving change form and completes receiving changes for various departments (Accounting, Purchasing, etc.).
• Completes "Debit Memo's" and assists Purchasing in returning over shipments to vendor.
• Maintains freight loss/damage claims reports. Assists Logistics and Purchasing departments in resolving issue with Freight Company.
• Works closely with Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Quality Assurance on making changes in receiving policies.
• Separates Vendor lot numbers when items a delivered with mixed lots on pallets.

Additional

• Performs other duties as assigned by warehouse coordinator.
• Maintains warehouse hygiene.
• Assists in the unloading of trucks.
• Performs receptionist duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently.

• Standing, sitting or walking for duration of shift.
• Pulling stretching, bending and lifting for duration of shift.
• Visually read bottles, product, batch numbers, etc. at high rates of speed.
• Manual dexterity for such duties as writing, typing, sorting, filing, sweeping, etc.
• Ability to write and spell accurately and correctly.
• Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
